 PROFESSOR AKANDE REJOICES WITH OLUBADAN AT 93

Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Professor Adeolu Akande has rejoiced with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso1 on his 93rd birthday anniversary.

Professor Akande in a statement in Ibadan expressed joy that God has blessed the first class monarch with good health and wisdom on the stool of his forefathers.

"It is heartwarming to rejoice with our Baba on this rare occasion of his 93rd birthday. Only very few people enjoy the kind of grace that God has blessed the Olubadan with", he stated.

Professor Akande noted that the reign of Oba Adetunji has been characterized by peace and unprecedented development in Ibadan. He noted that the Olubadqn has been instruemental to renewed unity among individuals and groups in the ancient city and that thus  this has culminated in the further development of sub-saharan largest city's development.

Professor Akande prayed God to continue to shower his favour on the monarch, his entire family and Ibadanland  and Oyo State.
