*Atiba stands still for Faozey *
In continuing his declaration for the seat of the Senate, Oyo Central. Engr Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen’s train stopped at Atiba Local Government in Oyo on Sunday.
Faozey, who officially declared his intention to represent the people of the district at Lagelu Local government last week, embarked on a tour of all local governments in his Senatorial District.
Expectedly, The people of Atiba Local government came out in their numbers to show support to Faozey and his team, showing off with a crowd that froze movement in the area.
Captivated by the support he received from the local governments, the elated aspirant said the people’s body language is clearly speaking the language of FON, an acronym for Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen.
“ I chose to go on a tour of all 11 local governments in my senatorial district, not just to declare my ambition for the senate, but also to engage each local government. To deliver on the promises I have made to you, It is important for me to drive on the roads you drive, it is imperative to see the schools your children attend, it is necessary to see the water you drink and sit with you.
“Coming here today is a signal, to tell you the kind of representative I will be. I will not forsake you and I’ll deliver on my promises. Both young and old people of Atiba have honored me beyond my expectations by trooping out in this large numbers today, I will repay the favour by the grace of Almighty Allah through life transforming empowerments in different sectors.”
The immediate outgoing Youth Leader of Oyo State APC, Mogaji Isiak Areokuta who also spoke at the event attested to the youth giving unalloyed support to the ambition of FON.
“ I am the immediate past youth leader of the APC in the state, and most of the faces I’m seeing here today are youth, who share in the vision of Faozey. I have sighted a number of youth stakeholders in the state and this is passing a message, the youths are with Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen “
Faozey is expecting to tour the remaining 9 local governments in Oyo Central district in the coming weeks.
